Description:
CJMCU-219 INA219 I2C Interface No Drift Bi-directional Current / Power Supply Monitoring Module
Introducing the CJMCU-219 INA219 I2C Interface Bi-directional Current/Power Monitoring Module—now available at the best price exclusively from Robu, the official reseller in India. This module comes fully equipped with everything you need to get started.
The CJMCU-219 integrates a zero-drift, bi-directional current and power monitoring IC with an I2C interface. Powered by the INA219 chip, it offers industry-leading precision and a compact form factor. It monitors voltage drop across a shunt resistor, senses the supply voltage, and calculates power, making it a highly efficient solution for power monitoring.
This breakout board simplifies power monitoring tasks, eliminating the need for multiple multimeters. With the INA219 chip, you can easily measure both high-side voltage and DC current draw over I2C, achieving 1% precision.
The device is built using the SOT23 package, providing a small, low-cost solution ideal for applications in servers, notebooks, power supplies, battery management, digital electric vehicles, and telecommunications equipment.
A precision amplifier measures voltage across a 0.1, 1% sense resistor, with a maximum input difference of ±320mV, allowing the module to measure currents up to ±3.2A. The internal 12-bit ADC offers a resolution of 0.8mA at the ±3.2A range. For lower currents, the module can measure down to ±400mA with 0.1mA resolution when the gain is set to div8. Advanced users can even replace the 0.1-ohm sense resistor with their own to adjust the current range, for example, using a 0.01-ohm resistor to measure up to 32A with 8mA resolution.
The INA219 operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with a maximum accuracy error of just 1% and a maximum offset of 100μV. Its high precision and 12-bit resolution help minimize voltage drop across the shunt resistor, delivering accurate and reliable power measurements.
