BMP180 Digital Barometric Pressure Sensor Module

Product Description

This module is a digital barometric pressure sensor based on the BMP-180 chip. It has lower power consumption, smaller size, and higher accuracy than the older BMP-085 sensors. It can measure barometric pressure, temperature, and altitude using the I2C interface with any microcontroller. It has an onboard 3.3V LDO regulator that makes it compatible with a 5V supply. It can measure pressure from 300 to 1100hPa (corresponding to an altitude range of -500m to 9000m relative to sea level) with an accuracy of 0.02hPa (0.17m) in advanced resolution mode. It uses piezo-resistive technology for high accuracy, linearity, EMC robustness, and long-term stability. It is an improved replacement for the BMP-085 sensor.
