Introducing the OV7670 VGA CMOS Camera Image Sensor Module, a compact and highly sensitive camera module designed for capturing and processing images with precision. Built around the OV7670 image sensor, this module offers versatile features and functionalities for various imaging applications.

With the ability to output the entire frame, sample data, and support various resolutions in 8-bit format through SCCB bus control, users have complete control over image quality, data format, and transmission mode. The module can achieve VGA image quality with a maximum frame rate of up to 30 frames per second, ensuring smooth and clear image capture.

The OV7670 employs a low-cost image sensor DSP capable of operating at 640 x 480 (“VGA”) resolutions, equivalent to 0.3 Megapixels, with preprocessing capabilities configurable via the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB). This preprocessing enhances image quality by reducing or eliminating optical or electronic defects such as fixed pattern noise, tail, and floating away, resulting in clear and stable color images.
