The 5-Channel Flame Sensor Module is designed to detect flames over a wide area (>120 degrees) with five flame sensors spaced 30 degrees apart. This module is ideal for building robots or systems that need to detect fire in their environment.
It offers both analog and digital outputs: the analog output provides more precise readings, while the digital output is easier to work with. The digital output’s sensitivity can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer. The five built-in LED indicators help with debugging and monitoring your project. High-precision resistors enhance the overall accuracy of the sensor.
This module is sensitive to both flame and infrared radiation, and it can detect ordinary light sources within the wavelength range of 760nm to 1100nm. The detection range for a typical lighter flame is about 80 cm, and this range increases with larger flames.
